DESIGN

mira mira ceramic design is my own ceramic brand founded in 2018 in the south of Spain. With my background in graphic design and strongly influenced by reduced forms, draws both visual and conceptual inspiration from the surrounding coastline. I’m creating my objects through a slow, concious process of hand-building.

In my work, it is important that the ceramic pieces feel tangible in the hand and immediately connect with the person holding them. Through my deliberate way of making, the forms remain organic.

This is reflected in a lively and playful typography. The main typeface is a blend of organic and constructed forms, with varying widths. It is paired with a clear and neutral typeface, mainly used for body text. The color palette is earthy with a subtle touch of femininity. The imagery can play with light and shadow, reflecting the coastal setting — the coast of light.
